In response to your request for information regarding, the recent government consultation on Elective Home Education - Guidelines for Local Authorities, the Council is happy to supply the enclosed information :
The latest guidelines can be found on Bury Education Welfare Service web site.
As a response to this we are currently updating our documentation in line with the guidelines.
No direct response other than the above has been made.

Does this mean that Bury did not respond to the consultation with DCSF on elective home education guidelines?

So, as far as I can make out, Bury did not respond either directly, or indirectly, to the consultation because they weren't asked.
